For those with Skid Plates on your Jeep

Just curious, if you have the skid plates on your Jeep (or I should say under the Jeep) do you know if you have to take off the skid plates to get access to the oil drain plug and oil filter for an oil change?

No, each is easy access for the 5.7L.

Do the skids add much weight? Can they be removed easily?
I have an Overland being built with the OffRoad package which I ordered primarily to get 18" wheels (better ride).

Oil filter for the V6 is accessible from the top of the engine, thru an access port in the engine cover. Haven't yet looked for the V6 drain plug, but I can't believe it would be obstructed by skid plates.
