Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps

I noticed that my '11 Overland build sheet has a line item that says "LBRS Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps" ... I looked high & low for 'Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps' ... even searched the internet ... any one have any idea where the 'Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps' hide?

Re: Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps

They are the interior and map lights. FYI.... I really really wanted to tell you they were on the bumpers or something.
And shame on you for joining in september and only posting twice

The thing that throws me off is the word 'aimable', the interior and map lights are fixed in my WK2 ... is there something more to these 'aimable' lights ... or is it a poor use of the word 'aimable'?

Re: Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps

I think aimable is meant by the overhead console lights. Its got the push button lights or you can push the plexi lens to turn on the others. Not really aimable but thats what i was explained

No, what really happened was that they were supposed to be called "amiable lights" (they are very nice you see...)

Re: Front & Rear Aimable LED Lamps

In many places, they are also advertised as "Aircraft-inspired front and rear aimable LED Lamps". In some of the aircraft I am familiar with, they have swivelling LED reading lamps ... definately aimable!
