Anyone know how to remove the front bumper chrome guard plate (trim) on a 2012?

I tried to remove it yesterday but I couldn't. I was only able to pull it out about an inch but couldn't figure out how to pull it off.

Are you talking about the grill or lower piece? A pic might help. I have dipped both the grill and lower chrome on my 2011. I can provide links to the removal, just have to search back a bit.

I was talking about the chrome trim piece on the front bumper at the bottom. I think the limited's have them, which is what I have.

I know how to remove the grille. Did it once to replace it.

Now I want to vinyl the bottom chrome trim piece.

I was at work so I couldn't post a pic. I'll try and get one.

Yeah I was looking at some pics of the part itself and see where the clip connections are but could not figure out how to remove it.

I may just end up laying the vinyl on without taking it off. :( don't feel like taking off the bumper just for that

I have a 2012 black Altitude and have been looking into either dipping or painting mine black. Has anyone found out a way to remove those? I'm surprised they don't sell these in black. All I've seen at chrome ones for sale. Imo the Altitude looks way better without this thing in chrome!
