Front Chrome Fascia Removal-2011

I'd like to remove my chrome fascia to plastidip, and I'm having trouble seeing/removing all the clips on the bottom. I popped the top 4 clips connecting the black part to the top of the radiator, but can't get the bottom off. According to this diagram it appears there are 2 screws holding it on? I've heard its easy to just pop off, I've tried searching but I can't find a good DIY or video showing exactly which clips to pop off on the bottom. Any help would be appreciated.

Just pull on the outer grille shell out really hard. That's what I did after I got the top released. Just got lucky really.

Ok thanks-I just don't want to break any of the clips or anything. Did you pull up as well, or straight back? Also do you remember there being any screws to remove? The diagram shows there are 2 but I don't see how to take them out without taking the whole bumper off.

Re: Front Chrome Fascia Removal-2011

I put blue painters tape over the bumper to protect it, just to be safe. I pulled straight back, I did try loosening the clips first using plastic trim tools, it didn't seem to do much on the lower clips and I got frustrated and pulled by holding onto two vertical outer surfaces of the grille, with just thumb and index finger while wearing gloves.
