I bought it in Va, thru the DC group buy at Koons and VA requires the front plate so those things are slapped on there as soon as they are dropped from the truck. They should leave them off until they are sold and let the customer decide if they want it installed. It would take the salesperson a whole 60 seconds to mount it but, than again where would the dealer slap his cheap dealer advertisment tag to.
One positive thing they didn't get a chance to slap one of those ugly dealer stickers to the back.
