get rid of the chrome

Hello guys,

my jeep has alot of chrome(dont care for it) and i was wondering if anyone has or knows of a way to get rid of it without having to replace the part?
I like the look of black chrome.

I recently blacked out my entire Jeep...I had a ton of chrome..

there's a few diff ways to do it

you can use Paint/Vinyl or painted parts..here's what I did

Paint or wrap are your only options really. If you have a Summit you can purchase High Altitude black chrome parts to replace all the bright chrome, but it wouldn't look right unless you did the complete package...black wheels, Altitude/SRT headlights etc etc.

Not sure if the results are any good, but I think rustoleum makes a black chrome DIY kit.

I did the "black Chrome" Paint on the nose of mine..it looks "OK" at best ...wouldn't recommend it really because its a bit inconsistent on big parts

I plasti dipped by front grill inserts, emblems and the trunk bezil.
