Re: Gloss Black Tail lamp Bezel Swap

Quick question...to install the inner bezels did you remove the inner tail lights? I took the 10mm bolts off the inners and could not get them out. Do you have to remove the rear cargo panel lining? Or do the inner bezels just pop off...any help is appreciated

The bezels are attached to the light via a single screw and 3m tape. To remove the light there are four 10mm bolts to remove per light on the lift gate. You also have to disconnect several plugs. I recommend pulling the gate liner to gain full access.

The 3M tape is pretty sticky - You really need to pull hard and slow. I would pull and used a razor blade to cut, than pulll, than cut some tape, pull, cut, etc.

Re: Gloss Black Tail lamp Bezel Swap

Well bummer. Thanks for the reply though! Looks like vinyl is my only choice. Not sure I want to go that route.
