Re: Good way to get bugs off bumper?

Cheap/easy method:
Take a pair of your wife's pantyhose (you should probably ask which is the cheapest). Cut one foot off. Cut the legs up into pieces, stuff into the foot and tie off in a knot. Soak in your favorite car wash solution and gently rub the little buggers right off.

Doesn't scratch the paint, but has just enough abrasion to take the bugs right off.

Re: Good way to get bugs off bumper?

I use this for tar, bugs, sap, wheels and white letters on tires. Stinks like crazy though.
It never hurt a thing. Sometimes I let it sit a bit. Just a soft sponge works.
And it will smell bathroom fresh when you're done.
Use it straight. Then rinse.

Re: Good way to get bugs off bumper?

I tried the used, wet dryer sheet today on my Tacoma and it worked great.

That stuff might also remove the paint.
