Got hit from behind...need help with identifying parts

Sorry if this is vague, but I haven't been on here much in a while because of mainly financial hardships.

So I have a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the one exhaust and no tow package.

Anyway so I'm at an 4 way intersection today waiting to make a left turn onto a way street and apparently a girl driving hits me from behind. I could not move because the vehicle ahead of me was already in the intersection waiting for oncoming traffic to clear so I just slowly creeped ahead maybe 5-10 feet and stopped. That's when she hit me, I guess she was coming from the right side lane and trying to get into my lane behind me to turn left as well. She even admitted to me that she was looking on Waze on her phone when it happened. :-/ I kinda felt sorry for her because she seemed very apologetic and sorry but stuff happens I guess.

She hit just at where the passenger side rear foglight sits because the foglight totally disappeared, the upper part of the rear bumper was left slightly misaligned now and the black bottom part of the bumper was scraped from her car.

This is a long story but apparently she just arrived from China, hardly spoke english and was driving her brother's BMW z4 with a Chinese license. Not sure if thats even valid in NYC. I called the police and had to wait almost 2 hours for them to arrive. She calls her brother or someone, he owns the car I guess. He gets on the phone with me and tries and convince me not to call the police or report it. He originally said he would pay me for it and then backed off that and said if I don't report it, he can have it fixed at his bodyshop and also then pay me in return.. I told him I will only want the work done at my body shop so that was not acceptable to me.

It sounded fishy to me so I didn't know how to handle this so I waited for the police to take the report. Now my problem is I forgot to get the other persons contact info/phone #. How can I even get it at this point?

I want to get the price on parts and then give him the total cost and say either you pay this or we can report to insurance. But I don't have their phone number.

So my idea was to replace the parts with the parts for the dual exhaust bottom and the upper part with the slot for the tow hook because if I want to upgrade my exhaust to dual/or purchase a tow hook I can take advantage of that (I mean the two black pieces that aren't painted).

I don't know what the required pieces are called/oem part number so anyone link me them? I also don't know if the bodyshop will say I need the upper painted bumper part too so if you can link me that as well.

I took some pictures but my phone is dead at the moment. Help please

Added pictures...(my friend told me to take pictures of her just incase she decided to drove off and I needed to prove that she was driving the car.)

If the police took an accident report, don't they have this guy's contact info?

I don't know I haven't gotten into an accident before so I don't know if their phone number would be on the accident report or not...they told me I have to wait 2 days to call the precinct to get a copy.

That info should be in the report. It should also list his insurance company. Call the precinct and ask them if it is.

Well, at least you have his license plate number, that's a good thing. Worst case, he can be tracked down by that.

Luckily, the damage on your Jeep doesn't look too bad.

Hmmm if his phone number isnt on the accident report is there any other way I'd be able to get it without reporting him to the insurance company beforehand?

Also if I call my insurance company and tell them, am I obligated do the repair thru insurance and then it will be on my record as an accident and maybe raise my rate?

If it's not listed in the report, talk to someone at the precinct or to your insurance agent.

If you were legally stopped at an intersection waiting to make a turn and got hit from behind then I'd say the blame is all on the girl. The only cases where you don't get assigned a percentage of blame for an accident (just for being on the road) is if you are legally stopped at an intersection or legally parked. She rearended you so the blame is on her... that's inattentive driving at a bare minimum. Since she admitted to goofing around on her cell phone, that makes it a lock.

I hope you carry uninsured motorist coverage... my bet is that's the case here.

You should be able to find all the parts here. These prices are full retail but all the bumper stuff is unpainted so the general labor, prep, paint is a huge guess without a body shop quote. Hmm I just spoke to my dad and after I explained to him what happened, he told me to get the police report and then contact the other guys insurance company about it first and not mine. Anyone have any input on doing this?

If you're going to contact an insurance company it should be your own first and as soon as possible. They're there to help you and they will get the police report and contact the other person's insurance company as part of the claim process. That's what you pay them to do.

Hmmm so I want the one with the 2 exhaust cutouts and door for tow hook. I guess that is from the Limited model?

Would this be the only part I would need for it? Sorry I'm clueless

Fascia, Rear - FASCIA, Rear Lower - 68078316AB | Mopar

This is what I'm talking about, it looks like its 2 pieces...
