If the LEDs stayed on permantely and allowed decent light output, I think those could actually be useful for the right people.

Otherwise, I find it obnoxious...even for a car show.

It's in show mode...
Yes it can stay on permanently if you'd like. There are 7 settings. You are just watching the show mode.

How bright are these. I have a vol ff in longisland and have many led lights on my 12 wk2. Looking for off road lights now.

Not sure how bright it is. They look super bright because the iris on the camera is bumped up. You can ask William Anderson on Facebook or go to his site ThedoubleAA.com he has all the info for you.
