H11 LEDs

Has anyone tried these ones yet for the fogs? A little pricey but they are claiming 2800LM on them. Looks like they have the load resistors in a clean inline package instead of a bunch of clunky modules, and no fans like some of the other higher out put ones. anyway they look good if what they are claiming is true on the LMs. They are also claiming headlight use not just fogs so they need the LMs to back it up if headlight use. Got to watch some of the overseas junk that is sold at least they are Hong Kong instead of mainland china lol.

This will make the fogs match the HID colors but it will throw almost zero light making the fogs just for looks.

See and that is why I have never done LEDs before because they could not match the Lumen output of the halogens. You have to look at the Lumen ratings to determine the amount of light you are getting out of them. Standard halogen H11s put off 1300 lumens previous LED H11s I have looked at have put off 400-600 and the reason for not enough usable light. If you look at these they claim 2800 Lumens which should give the color and ample usable light. The question is if they really do put off 2800 Lumens. So yes they will throw plenty of light if what they are saying is true concerning the Lumen rating. That's why I am asking if anyone has experience with these specific ones. I have been keeping an eye out for LEDs and this is the first I have seems these specific ones

Re: H11 LEDs

Waiting to hear feedback on these as well. If the claims of lumen are true, will be a nice replacement for stocker halogens.

Are projector headlamps required? It appears the layout of the leds on circuit board are compatible for halogen reflector headlights.

Also several ebay companies out of California have these listed for ~ $95 minus the "resistance decoder".
