Halogen to OEM Bi-xenon retrofit harnesses to retain flash to pass!

Based on the pioneering efforts of Scott who did most of the legwork of identifying what would be needed to install OEM bi-xenon headlight housing in the WD/WK2 platform

You can see his post here: **HOW-TO** add oem HID's to your Durango WD or Grand Cherokee WK2

Thanks to BClemmons for confirming my suspicions that a diode installed onto a jumper wire from the high beam would enable flash to pass.

His confirmation is listed at the end of this thread: adding OEM HID's to 2011+ Grand Cherokee/Durango

I myself was lucky enough to find the missing piece of the puzzle the 12 pin connector that enabled us to power the passenger side headlight without any major modification.

you can see my post here: 12 Pin plug to make OEM bi Xenon Retrofit more PLUG & Play

Here is what I came up with based on all this information:

* I am waiting for my mopar wiring repair kit to arrive so the Driver's side harness is unfinished but it does allow you to see the adapter harness needed to receive both the low and high beam to feed the CAN-BUS corrector hareness*

*Here is the passenger side harness before I covered with split wire loom to finish off the appearance*

Thank you for the hard work! I was scouring over diagrams and my engine bay with a multimeter but this is awesome work. Now I have no reason to not do the project!

After its all said and done - is there any difference between the OEM bi-xenon upgrade and factory installed HIDs?

That is something that can be done without. I see it as a minor difference since I've seen auto level fail on certain vehicles and its am expensive fix.
