Has anyone Added SRT DRL Led's to their Limited/Overlands/Summit?

I am getting ready to Add the SRT body to my Limited and need to know if anyone has added SRT DRL LED's to their Jeeps? I've asked a bunch of people and no one seems to know if these can be added into the stock Harness. I have the HID factory lights already-

This is on a 2014 Limited.

Thank you !

I have the '15 SRT headlights on my Summit, but it's a 2012. If you have factory HID on your car, should be plug and play.

AJAG to answer your question the SRT DRL wiring is different and SRT parts are expensive so I don't think anyone has used actual SRT LED bulbs.

Give Chad at blackops a call he had a srt conversion kit and offered LEDs to go with the kit.

I sent you a PM, I'm curious what you did to get those lights to work on your car. A lot of us are trying to accomplish this.

Thanks

I think he was referring to the exclusive to SRT LED strip that's in the bumper next to the fog lights. Not the actual headlights. The '14+ SRT has LED's in the headlights and the bumper next to the fogs.

Yeah...I'm getting ready to put on the SRT8 ground effects on my jeep including the SRT LED strips on the front end...those are the ones that I was asking about...I may end up just having to wire up a switch or something ...not sure yet

You can use wiring similar to kit for the SRT to turn the ribbon on with the DRL. You can tap those LED's into the wiring that goes into the headlight.

Too many mods to list for each, so let's just say a lot was done over the years.

I don't think it will work. I think the bumper LED strip runs on a canbus system. They run full intensity and low intensity triggered by the canbus signal. I'd love to know how you get this working though, it may be simpler than i'm thinking.

So even if you have hid/xenon in your 2012 you need the new pin connector for the 2014 hid/xenon? And how do I know what headlights to order. I see all of this non-ads and all this. What 2014 headlights do I order for an overland with adaptive leveling and smart beam?

Basically what i am asking is. MatthewLFD i have a 2012 overland and want the same setup. I am just confused as to what headlights to order. What is AFS in the new headlights? I called the dealership and they said my HIDs in my 2012 Overland are the adaptive leveling and the smart beam. I am just a little confused.

Don't those 14-15 leave a larger gap between the bumper and light? Can't really tell in the pics
