Horrible weather today, but here is the finished result (almost—I've still got some chrome to dip) of the Anthracite Grey on the grille rings and wheels.
This was three coats matte black, two coats anthracite grey and one coat glossifier. I did this simply for economical reasons—the Plasti Dip in Australia was $15/can for black and $25/can for anthracite. The anthracite gives a really nice colour with just one coat (two to be sure) so there's no need to use it for all the coats.
My personal opinion, with the Billet Silver, this looks completely awesome.
It also looks completely badass covered in mud. It rained—I couldn't help myself.
This should give me a good opportunity to test how it is best cleaned.
I also plan to finish off the rest of the chrome pieces in matching plasti next weekend. This includes fog light bezels, tail light bezels, window trim and all badges except the front one which is already done.
