Headlights on a curve

It is hard to tell from the web site if this is only on the top model but it shows that the headlights change their direction on a curve. On the highway it is hard to tell if that is happening but on a loaner Audi it had this feature and when you turn onto a street and in my case an alley the headlight beam actually lit up the alley. That does not happen with the JGC that I have. I notice it leveling the lights which is a little freaky but have not seen anything to suggest that lighting up a curve is actually happening.

So is this a feature only in the top models, mine is a limited, or is this only very subtle and something you probably would not be able to detect. Or is it possible that mine is not functioning.

You don't have the feature.

Re: Headlights on a curve

I believe only summit and SRT's have the adaptive headlamps. It would be a VERY tough option to add due to sensors, modules etc.

Re: Headlights on a curve

I believe it is an option on Overland.

Driving in the fog, it's kinda funny. It's more of a "lazy eye" function - the light on the outside of the turn doesn't move at all (right turn, left light never moves). The light on the inside of the turn, moves towards the inside as you turn the wheel. Very odd looking in fog. Reminds me of Marty Feldman in Young Frankenstein ("walk THIS way, sir....")

They can be activated or deactivated through U-Connect. Most likely found under Controls > Settings.
