Headrest remove

does anybody know how the headrest come off or if they do

Be careful. I believe that they are "active" headreasts that will move forward in the event of a crash. No idea what makes them do that, but be careful.

If they are like the ones on my 2010 M3, they have a wire going down one of the supports for the active headrest. To disconnect the wire, you probably need to first disconnect the battery, remove the rear part of the seat backrest and disconnect the connector.
