I am replacing the rear door lock actuator on our 2011 WK2 Grand Cherokee.
I have remove the interior door panel. I do see there is an access port.
It seems like the inner door skin also holds up the rear window. I tried to remove the inner door skin but quickly realized the window was coming too.
Do you need to remove the interior door panel / window to remove the door actuator?
Or... is the access hole in the interior door panel the only way to get to the door actuator?
What are the steps to get the actuator out and install the new one???
Thanks in advance!!! The door will be 1/2 taken apart until I get this resolved .....
(Pics would help....
