Skunkd - also really like your white altitude. I have a 15 white altitude as well and am looking for options on blacking out front side markers. I have heard srtninja had the kit but can't seem to find him. Do you know how I can get this mod taken care of ?

Thanks

I bought the 3m wrap and started doing the straight chrome pieces. I got so damn frustrated with the curved parts. I looked at the sections I did and loved the look of it but the longer I stared, I saw mistakes. I tore it all off....

I feel your pain, as I'm in the process of doing the trim on mine. I pulled the back section piece off after I trimmed it too much and left a chrome sliver.

I feel like I've watched hundreds of videos on YouTube of people doing this, and one (and I can't remember which) guy used a full sheet (like a 2' x 2' square) to do the rear section, and trimmed it after he smoothed it out. May be an idea to try.

The other alternative is spray painting after taping everything off. I'm not sure if that would work, what paint to use, or how long it will last. I definitely wouldn't want to take the time to prep but then have the paint scrape off shortly after.

As suggested in other posts, I've used the Charcoal Lamin-X on my (white 2014) taillights, side markers, and tail marker. I love the way it looks. Takes a little skill to apply, and a real heat gun, but not impossible.
