Re: Help picking a caliper paint color

depending on the theme you are going for would determine the color to go with.

If you are going for the Sporty attention grabbing look then here are some colors that the others have already suggessted that would go well with Mineral Grey
  • Red
  • Blue (a dark blue shade not that light blue stuff)
  • Yellow (once it is not outrageiously bright)
Now if you are going for the classy/elegant look that always looks clean and draws subtle attention then here are a few suggestions that again would go well with mineral grey.
  • Gloss black
  • satin/semi gloss black
  • Silver gloss/satin
  • Anthracite grey
Sometimes subtle colors gain you more attention. If you do a subtle color and have some decals made that say jeep you can put them on the calipers and have something similar to the WK 2005-2010 that had the jeep logo cast into the caliper

Perfect example my last car had factory brembos that came unpainted.

I painted them gloss black and put the bremdo decals on them, and people noticed them because of the brembo decals.

When the bright color cast color fades on my jeep I will more than likely paint them satin black and call it a day.

Re: Help picking a caliper paint color

I saw that someone already made a thread for the same question not all that long ago so I figured instead of starting a new thread I would pose the same question here.
I too am trying to decide on a caliper paint for my Steel Blue Metallic WK. I was thinking Red or Yellow, but was leaning more towards Red as I have recently added a CF Red ORT Sticker. Here is a recent picture. It has been raining and have been unable to get a shot with the badge on.

Re: Help picking a caliper paint color

I have a white altitude, what would be better, black or white calipers. Probably black. But I want to be a little bit different what other options do I have
