HID Headlight Trouble (Pics)

I am now 0 for 2 on the HID front. My JGC has HID headlights from the factory, but I wanted to swap the bulbs out for the Phililps X-treame Vision. All I did was swap the bulbs and now I have this:

Also high beam is not much different.

What did I do wrong?

What you did wrong was swapping out those bulbs in the first place!
Put the HID bulbs back in & enjoy!

The Xtreme Vision are HID bulbs. It was (at least should be) plug and play.

What I used:

D3S - Philips X-tremeVision 42403XVC1 5000k Bulb | 42403XVC1 xenon | Philips 5000k D3S

Well, got it sorted. Just needed to properly seat the bulbs.

Low Beam

High Beam

Those metal fingers are tricky. How do you like the new bulbs?

Re: HID Headlight Trouble (Pics)

Highly...HIGHLY recommend the Philips bulbs!

They are like having two little suns in the projectors. Aside from the rather dim lights in that mobile home, that street is pitch black dark. Not a single light.
