Im in the market to get some hids for my 2015 jeep wk2. i have these in mind H11 Motorcycle HID Headlight Kit | H11 Bike HID Upgrade. I just want to know do i need anything else. Like do i need canbus cancelers or a relay harness. Is there any other Hids kits that you guys reccomend?
Does anybody have any pics of there fogs with hids. Not sure if i want 6000K or 5000K.

thanks

you will need canbus cancellers.
also the Motorcycle one is 1x Ballast and 1x Bulb. Keep that in mind, you need 2 kits.
I run 5k in my Durango, same fog projectors for the most part compared to the WK2.

I got my HID fog kit from XenonDepot. The install is pretty easy in a 2014 Limited (just pull off the lower fascia). You will need to use canbus harnesses but I didn't use the relay harnesses. The pic shows 3000K lamps.

The HIDs are way brighter than the stock halogens.

Due to the design of the enclosure, there is a sharp cutoff of the light projected by the fogs, which was less noticeable when using the halogens.

Because of this design (and using 3000K lamps) there is very little back-reflection from the lights when actually driving in fog.

The Phillips 3000K bulb exhibits a slight greenish tint compared to say, PIAA Plasma Ion Yellow bulbs...

I've always put HIDs in my fogs, but I think the next go around I'm going to try those Phillips LEDs that Scott threw in

Can't comment on the 11a vs 11b (although it seems they would be different bulb sizes based on the website decription).

I have used DDM Tuning kits on several vehicles, and for the price I must say they are one of the best kits available, especially at only $80. Their "Plus" kits with the canbus included are truly plug-n-play.

For the fog lights, I would have to suggest getting a 35w kit, higher wattage may be the issue with some people "melting" the housing.
