Once we get some feedback we'll be happy to share it with you guys.

Ok finally some feedback for everyone. I purchased the H11 5K for my 2014 Limited. After about 10 days finally came in the mail from Xenon Depot. Everything was packaged nice.

Had a chance to go to my friends autobody shop and his mechanic is the best. It was way more difficult then I though(last time I did this was an '08 JGC). Bumper had to come off(pictures below).

It was pretty much plug and play after that. THE RELAY is a key and a must as that stops the flickering. At first didn't hook it up just to see but there is major flickering. Once you hook up the relay you are golden. The ballast fit nice right on the ride hand side of the lights. Besides just the sticking it I also strapped it in with cable ties to secure.

With a little chatting and few pictures taken took about 1.5 hours for install.

Pictures below of before, during and side by side. (sorry if I am not the best night vision shooter)

So far been in the car 2 days and was worth the wait from xenon depot.

How hard is it removing the bumper and grill to get to the head lights.

Wasn't that hard it pops off pretty easily. Few things you need to screw in on the sides underneath the hood that had to get removed when take out the headlights.

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

The HIDs look great. This might be the first thing I do when I pick up my 2014.

Does the bumper need to come off? Or is that only because it gives you some more room?

Im afraid of taking the bumper off a brand new car, any chance you'd help out a fellow person from NJ? lol.

Great pictures.

Thanks man. Yea it does need to come off. But it also pops right back on. If you get someone that knows what they are doing you won't be nervous.

PM if you want my local mechanic who knows the car already. He's in central jersey.

tvguy710 Thanks for taking the time to post some feedback and a great write up regarding the 2014 Grand Cherokee. It turned out pretty good

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

You say relay was necessary, are you referring to the canbus fix? Or just the regular relay kit?

I highly recommend getting the relay kit and canbus is required.

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

Just curious as I've never even heard of it before, without the canbus, what happens?

You get a lamp out error on the dash.
