Thanks.
It was simple. Even on the driver side with the washer fluid bottle in the way. Just open the headlight access doors in your front wheel wells and reach in. You can see the bulbs and harness. Be aware that the harness has very little slack, so keep your eye on it.

I may go rewire this as per the TRS and Jeep_Addicted suggestions this afternoon if I have the time. I have to take photos for TRS and will post them here.

I was bombarded with deliveries yesterday. Wheels, tires, lug nuts, rear hatch panel, Jeep emblem, leveling kit, V3 Triton bulbs, etc...

Nice! thanks for the information and I look forward to your pictures. You mentioned the TRS and Jeep_Addicted suggestions, is there a post somewhere about this or was this a direct suggestion to you via PM?

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

It was a loose connection. The Retrofit Source contacted me today and I worked through the issue. Harness is very well made and works.

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

They are the bulbs in the actual taillight, not the tailgate, 7442?. 5000k Plug and play. I thought they would be too large but they fit fine. Found a coupon and paid $59 about a month ago. Bought switchback parking lamps as well, still not delivered though.

7443? I was asking about the tails I would prefer 6k but those are nice any chance to some upclose pics of the wiring and harness.

Yes, that is the reverse light. 7440 or 7443, not sure. Its the bulb in the taillight, not the tailgate. The tailgate bulb is smaller.

Harness is just two rca plugs from the LED on 6" of wire to a plastic piece that fits into the factory bulb socket.

Re: HID kit for 2014 Cherokee Limited

VPExhaust, Thank you for posting your pictures of this install, I feel more confident now dropping a few bucks on an HID kit knowing I do not need to remove the bumper and grill, awesome! +10
