High Altitude chrome window trim wrapped.

Paid $500 for side trim, roof and spoiler. Got a discount for paying cash and being flexible with the appointment. I was quoted over $750 for the job here in San Diego

A few months ago the shop took the entire day but it's flawless. I don't have exp wrapping and I don't mind paying for quality.

Re: High Altitude chrome window trim wrapped.

Your Jeep looks awesome, I couldn't understand why they would put bright chrome on windows when everything else is what I call Black Chrome. When I get front windows done this is also on my list. I have Granite color, it should look sweet.

Re: High Altitude chrome window trim wrapped.

Thanks Jdurhan, and as an update to this so far the wrap is holding up perfectly. I did sort of "babysit" it for the first week and if I saw an edge come up slightly I worked it back down with my hand, but I gotta say it's perfect now and have no regrets doing it. As I probably already said it's really weird seeing an HA now with chrome window trim it just does not look right.

Here is a pic I just took tonight here at work. Can barely see it but that's my buddies granite Summit next to mine.

Re: High Altitude chrome window trim wrapped.

I got a quote for $175 and I'm not sure I want to spend money on a mod that I can't recoup some money back. If I'm spending close to $200 I think spacers would add more plus they have value when I'm done with this vehicle.

Well I just bought spacers so I'm going to hold off on the wrapping. This is a lease and I want to be able to sell everything I have bought for it when I'm done.

I agree it looks awesome, but I think I will want a Trailhawk or a Ford Raptor. It will depend on the dependability of the GC over the next two years.

Sounds like its already a done deal, but for me between spacers and window trim wrap...my vote is window trim wrap all day long. It has a significant overall effect on the vehicle and just looks amazing. I tried the spacers but wasnt a huge fan of them so I sold them. Need the SRT sized wheels and tires for it to look right. Just get the wrap in addition to the spacers and its a win win :-)

Re: High Altitude chrome window trim wrapped.

I was at my local dealer today and they had a 75th out front. It had black trim and black non-SRT headlights. Parts quoted me $500 for the black trim and $1000 PER headlight. Whew!

What exactly do you mean parts quoted you $500 for the black trim? So you went in and asked them how much the complete new OEM black trim would cost? Something doesn't seem right with that as I think other guys have priced it out and it gets well into the thousand range. Not only that, but I heard that the rear most windows have to be completely removed and replaced as the trim is not separate. So in other words you have to buy both rear quarter windows and remove the entire glass from your vehicle. This is when the gloss black vinyl for 200 bucks sounds reaallll good
