Hood "JEEP" Emblem

So I was pricing out a clearbar/XPEL hood and bumper. I was told they had to remove the Jeep emblem to put the film on.

Does anyone know if there are holes underneath? Or is it just adhesive? I personally would rather it been gone myself.

Zero holes. Just adhesive. I've applied enough of them to know.

Re: Hood "JEEP" Emblem

You shouldn't have to remove those at all. I have the clear bra on my 14 and it has a cutout that matches the outline of the letters in it. If its an Xpel dealer, they should have a plotter that cuts out the exact shape for every vehicle.

However, if want them gone, im sure they can remove that on the computer so it doesnt cut that portion out.

Re: Hood "JEEP" Emblem

The "Jeep" letters for the front of the hood is MOPAR part # 5182390AB. I did the same thing - had the clear bra put on and they had to take off the Jeep letters off of the hood. I bought the replacement letters and had the dealer put it back on (I was afraid if I did it, it would be off centered, tilted, maybe even upside down haha).

It goes for about $40 on eBay.

Is there a template or easy way to get them centered and level? I need to add some. Thanks

The letters are on a solid strip of tape so lining them up is not to difficult. When I installed the letters in place of the chrome strips I used blue painters tape as a guide.
