How hard to change sunvisors?

I think I want to swap out the visors on my '14 GC. Looks like the mounting screws are behind a cover that snaps off, then deal with the connector. Easy as that, or am I missing something?

Looks like the covers snap off to expose the screws. Check out this document:

Curious for the reason behind the swap. Warning label too ugly?

Surely you don't have to pull the headliner as shown in the recall procedure??

I'm a cat lover, am having a set made to install.

The reason for the recall is because putting the screws back in can cut some insulation causing a fire. So, yes, if you change the visors and haven't had the recall done, you should get the shields and install them.

Re: How hard to change sunvisors?

Just kidding about the cat thing, the previous owner removed the warning labels (did a decent job), but I want to put it back to stock.
The recall has been done, so I'm good to go by just pulling the cover and screws?

Yes, as long as it was done right.

Do you know how he was able to do a good job removing them? You are putting warning labels back on.

Doesn't matter what method was used to remove those warning labels. Certain viewing angles will always show the outline of where the labels were located.

yeah agree, that's why I never attempted it, I have not seen any yet that are undetectable. guess I always hold out hope of stumbling on some new miracle method someone uses
