How to remove over head console

I have to replace my overhead console but am unsure of how to remove it. Looking at the new part it appears that it should just pry off. However I'm not sure if this is the case and don't want to cause any damage. Here is a picture of the part that I'm replacing:

Any help would be greatly appreciate it! Bless you

All the best,

Nate

Re: How to remove over head console

Yup just pull it straight down, nothing else to it. I found you can get your fingers between the headliner and console on the front near the windshield and simply pull it down. They are strong clips so it will feel like you're breaking it but it won't.
