I bought mine on Amazon. I was looking for them and Amazon had a set for sale through their warehouse deals site. I guess these had been returned. I figured if they were used I could deal with some marks on them. I pad 50 bucks for front and back. They go for 70 for whole set normally.

When I got them they were new!.
Thanks for the info. I just ordered mine on Amazon. Like you said they were $70 for the whole set.

Husky's fit like a glove. Didn't need to remove the wheels. Just need a stubby screw driver. Had them painted to match.

Re: husky mud guards on 2014?

Installed mine today. I managed to make a major production out of the install. There were no screws but rather those plastic push pins that are made to go in and never come out. It's impossible to remove them without breaking at least one. (I broke 8 out of 8) The hardware that came with the guards did not work (diameter too small for hole) so I had to make a trip to the hardware store to purchase new plastic pins. Also on the rear is one small bolt to remove and one torx screw on the bottom. It was a giant pain in the ass but I like them so it was worth the trouble.

Before going to the hardware store I called the dealer to see if they had the plastic pins in stock. I was advised they did however they were $4.00 each. I was laughing when I hung up. I paid 43 cents each at the hardware store and needed 8 of them.

I only had to install 2 of those push pins if I recall correctly. In the front ones I think.

The rest I used the little brackets that slide in place behind the felt liner and then you screw into that.

Can you post a picture of the fasteners

Re: husky mud guards on 2014?

Has anyone else installed these and have pics?

Wondering if they would be more forgiving if they were removed down the road (in terms of scratches on the trim behind the flaps) compared to the mopar ones?

Thanks

Re: husky mud guards on 2014?

Just an update since I installed them at the beginning of the year. They are still rock solid and going strong.

Regarding scratches after removal I can't imagine there being any significant difference between the Husky and Mopar ones. I'm sure small amounts of sand and other road debris will be trapped between the guard and trim. As long as the guards aren't loose and moving around which would cause them to rub through the paint a simple polish and wax may clean it up.

On the install side of things my guards were sealed in official Husky packaging and the hardware was correct. As previously mentioned trying to pull out the existing push pins is a losing battle. I ended up just cutting the heads off and pushing them through. They fall out on the ground. The only drilling that was required for me was because I don't have dual exhaust so the driver's side needed a third mounting point according to the instructions.

Re: husky mud guards on 2014?

Oh this is good to know. I had husky liners on my previous 2011 Camaro SS. Installed them also without taking wheels off. Looked great!

Will definitely go with husky again when i decide to put them on my jeep.

I wonder if the Huskey's would fit a 2015 Altitude. Per Huskey's site they don't.

Re: husky mud guards on 2014?

I installed the Jeep brand front & rear mudflaps. They fit perfectly and look great! I ended up buying a rivet gun & pins from Amazon.ca as the stealership wanted a fortune for just the pins, alone!

Hemi, when you get a chance could you post some pictures. I'm guessing yours are black? Really thinking about adding these to protect the area in front of my rear wheels.

I thought these attached with screws? I need pins?

Thanks
