Hydro dipping????

Had anyone every tried this before? There are only a few posts that even mention it but I didn't see anyone try it besides a professional. I'm contemplating doIng the front grille, it would be a subtle detail the you really wouldn notice up close.

I seen a very videos on YouTube and it seems easy enough but seeing if anyone had any input from their experience and the durability of it.

Thanks guys!

Re: Hydro dipping????

Hydrodipping gives a very nice finish and has great options for detail and especially when ghosting, with a clear it's very durable and some killer looks can be accomplished. I would not attempt my first 5-10 dunks on a final piece, it's straightforward but requires a familiarity with how it adheres as you enter. As far as paying someone, see finished pieces they've done both recent and past, other forums, the Corvette forums will have massive amounts more information, there's miles of info on it out there.

You might want to check out TJXJWJ's thread on the subject. The results look really good.
