Thanks, I agree they look great. Now I'm tempted to do the mod.

Ive had all the led bulbs...from cree to philips to XD and none compare to the oem led housings. Just much better road coverage.

Yeah scott is right. The output of these OEM LED lights is actually pretty incredible. I have never driven an HID equipped vehicle and thought I needed more light, but these fogs are so bright that if you turn them off while driving it literally makes your headlights look dim lol.

Re: I also did SRT fog lights.. wow. Pics inside

After getting these LED fogs installed they work great but I'm not sure I have them aimed properly. I tried to set them where the halogens were with tape on the wall but with the QL always correcting itself now and then they may have gotten messed up and look like they hit the ground too soon when driving. I have also tried to follow the alignment instruction involving 25 feet away and tape markings but finding a flat surface with a wall I can use in the dark has proved to be difficult around here. People think I'm vandalizing or trying to break in and throw me out, it has proved to be harder than you would think.

I don't need perfection just want them roughly correct so I was hoping someone could help me out. As an alternative I'm going to assume the self leveling headlights are correct. If someone gets a chance can they check what the gap is between the bottom of the beam of their self leveling headlights on the garage wall and the top of the beam of their fog lights (halogen or LED doesn't matter) on the garage wall at say 4 feet from fog light to wall. Is it one inch below, just touching, overlapping or what may it be? Thanks for any help

There is a little wiggle room from the 4 plastic clips hat hold hem in. You can rotate it just a little and it will slant left or right just a little. The adjuster hex bolt is helpful for going up and down but the only thing I could even image it being is the clip maybe not all the way though and it's pointing up or down in your case down. I would check the clips first then try and rotate them. It takes a decent amount of turns to see a difference so if you can do it in the dark with a flash light you might be able to see it better in front of you.

yeah I got the side to side correct and I even put a dab of silicone on it to keep it from moving again once they were flat. I was pretty careful with the tabs when I was putting it in because you don't get a distinct click with those fastening so I think they are ok. I adjusted the hex to match my tape markings on the wall from the halogens so I feel like that was all good. The thing that I am suspecting happened is the quadra lift moved at some point after I did the tape. that thing is always clicking on and off when I least expect it. so I think that may be how I am off on this. Assuming the self leveling headlights are correct another properly set HA or Summit should have the same gap from the bottom of the headlight beam on the wall to the top of the fog light beam on the wall as long as its an equal distance to the wall. I think it should anyway I only got C in physics in college so maybe I am wrong Thanks for the suggestions

Thanks for the tip. Ill just check the current alignment before i do anything else. My "tire jack" mode does not work and QL goes all over the place on me as well
