Re: I want to change my grille...first

I made one purchase from JustforJeeps and it was here the next day... less than 24 hours. I was impressed.

Re: I want to change my grille...first

I painted my front grill an rear brow. Cost me considerably less. Not talking spray paint or plasti dip. I used the same automotive paint your car is painted with. The grill is just black. The rear brow I color matched and did the emblem in black, along with the rest of the emblems on the jeep. Go see a body shop and have them paint your parts. Make sure they prep the chrome properly and use an epoxy primer over it

Thanks!

The way I did mine was to sand the chrome with 320 grit. I used an epoxy primer/sealer over the chrome and laid my base color onto that. The rear brow was done the same way but was a little more involved. To make the emblem black I first painted the part completly green and cleared it. Then wet sanded the part and brushed in the black on the emblem using single stage black. This is because brushing on base coat can lift the freshly applied paint. Once the emblem was painted I recleared the part. I love the look

Re: I want to change my grille...first

installation isnt to bad at all. i did mine myself, i just found a thread on here (there is several) and it showed how to do it step by step. i think it only took me like 30-40 mins from start to finish.

Re: I want to change my grille...first

did you not try the search bar at the top? lol

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/pdf/wk2_fasc...le_removal.pdf

How-To: Fog light HID kit in 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee (pic heavy)

i looked at the second one to do mine. it was right on and mine came off exactly like it showed. it doesnt actually cover how to take the grill off once you remove the front bumper. but if i remember right it was only 2 more 10mm bolts to take the grill off. either way getting the front bumper off is the biggest project. hope that helped.
