I say just do your best to keep it consistent as thats what always looks best. What I mean exactly is a Limited has a good amount of chrome on it. Going to the gloss black tail light bezels wont really match anything else as nothing else is gloss black on a Limited. IMO you either have to go all in on the de-chroming, or leave it all there. The plasti-dipped wheels also wont look right either.
Some of the ideas you mentioned that I think are great would be the LED interior lights, tint the front doors to match the rear 20%. OEM LED/HID headlights would be a great idea. Dont forget if you will be paint matching or de-chroming, might as well go with the SRT/High Altitude black headlights. Black grill would be awesome.
If you de-chrome there is a lot you gotta do. Grill rings, mirror caps, door handles, rear bumper step pad surround, tail light bezels, emblems etc etc.
