I would give it a 4, not hard at all. You pop out the plactic trim, then remove the metal insert by bending the tabs straight on the underside of the plactic trim. You need to drill a hole in the plastic trim in order to feed the wire for the light. Insert the new sills, feed the wire through the hole and then bend over the new tabs on the uderside of the plastic trim, this secures the new sills to the trim. Then just snap them back in place. Feed the wire under the front trim panel to under the dash. You can wire it anyway you want, but I cut into the underside footwell light wire and attached the wire with wire nuts, this way they come on only when the doors are open. I really like the look and it is an easy upgrade, well worh it.
