I have an OEM Mopar sun shade for my 2000 WJ and it fits perfectly without any force and can stay in place without the sunvisors down.
It doesn't fit 100%. I just fold the rightmost section in.

Definitely doesn't fit at well as I would have hoped. Bottom is too wide and overall it's too short. If I try to shade the whole dash, the visors won't hold it up. Bummer...

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

There are lots of numbers on the tag on the back. Not sure which is the "Model #", but the largest one is:

UC09061

Bought it online at JustForJeeps.com

Hope this helps.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I don't know guys, I have a $12 unit I bought 3 years ago for my WJ Ltd. It works amazingly well in my WK2 Ltd in 100F temps we have had this summer. Only thing lacking is it don't have a Jeep logo on it, but if I forget what kind of car I have I can always look on the hood!

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I still have my '00 WJ with the better fitting OEM sunshade. I'll try to take some comparison pics of both the WJ's and WK2's sunshades and show you'll the difference. The WJ's OEM sunshade fits perfectly and covers up more windshield area than the WK2's. It also doesn't need the sunvisors down to stay up.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

Here are some comparison pics I took today showing the WJ's and WK2's OEM sunshades.

WJ outside view

WJ inside view (no need for sunvisors to hold in place)

WJ inside edge

WK2 outside view

WK2 inside view (w/o sunvisors down)

WK2 inside view (w/sunvisors down)

WK2 inside egde

With the sunvisors down the WK2 sunshade provides a little more coverage but as you can see the WJ fits and stays in place without the need of sunvisors. In general the sunshade definitely serves its purpose and definitely still worth it. Last pic is showing the part numbers (WK2 top and WJ bottom).
