"Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I hate ill-fitting sunshades, so I ordered this guy from JustForJeeps (awesome, by the way), for $58. Not inexpensive, but works and fits very well. It even comes with a nice storage bag. I have several trips planned to AZ this summer, so I will come very much in handy.

Note that in the interior shot, it looks like it doesn't fit well on the passenger side. It just needs to be pushed up against the windshield and no light comes in. I just installed quickly for the pics.

Looks nice! I just ordered one last week from J4J as well. Good to know it fits well! Thanks for posting.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

Yeah, I "slept" on the idea or getting it for awhile - $60 for a sun shade is a lot. But its a very heavy material, and keeps the interior very cool. Worth the $$ if you're parking outside frequently in hot climates - especially with black leather interior.

I've had one for over a year and it's still in like new shape. It looks awesome at car shows and does an amazing job. Especially with tint!

good to hear that its holding up well.

The ONLY complaint I have is that the storage bag has velcro on the mouth, which catches on the trim of the shade itself. No big deal tho ugh.

I have that same sunscreen that I bought 10 years ago for my MBZ S500. It has fit 2-3 other full-size cars/SUVs since that time and has held up well. I paid close to $50 then for it...well worth it. It insulates against heat extremely well also, probably due in part that it holds its shape well and is thicker material.

Just fold the edge with the velcro back/down when putting the shade back in the bag.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I've had one for the SRT for a long time, still looks new. Living in S. Florida with a blk on blk vehicle it was essential. I never use the bag, to much hassel when the sunshade is put up and taken down so often, it's just kept next to the pass seat.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I've been using one for six years now. It completely blocks out the light and folds up perfectly. Mine didn't come with a bag though; it just came in a box. I see no need for a bag for it though. That would be a pain to use.

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

I just had the front window and pano sunroof tinted with the ceramic clear tint and it dropped my temps about 15 to 20 degrees. I will have to look at getting one of these later if it is still too hot. I really notice the change on the sun roof with the tint.

I figure if I add this $60 upgrade too and then I can then leave the frozen food in the car a little longer out here in AZ .... lol

Re: "Installed" - OEM Mopar Jeep Sunshade

Even though I know it is crazy to spend nearly $70 on a sunshade since I spent 45 grand on a vehicle with a leather dash I decided to order this one. My old Autozone sunshade does not fit the WK2 very well and has been a PITA. FYI, a quick google search found a coupon online that saved an extra 5% (http://www.retailmenot.com/view4/justforjeeps.com). I guess an extra $3 saved is still something!
