Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

In the San Francisco area people are into "hybrids" ... my hearing must be bad 'cause I thought I they were saying "hemi"!

And as "andhy" says, it's YOUR vehicle so do whatever makes you happy. I have put the "5.7 L / HEMI" on my WK2, and I have seen others on the road who have done the same. I have a picture at http://jeepgarage.org/album.php?albu...&pictureid=921. The 5.7 letters match the 4X4, and the HEMI complements the Overland to maintain symmetry.

Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

I just ordered chrome license plate brackets that say Jeep on the top and HEMI on the bottom. Had to get rid of those ugly dealer advertisement brackets.

Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

They are vertically aligned with the "4x4" and "Overland" on the driver side. The Overland oval is taller than the small HEMI badge. But of course one can move them around a little to make it look different, and maintain the symmetry.

Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

I added the HEMI badge. Really completes the back end view.

Best I could do for pictures with only a cell phone camera and sun glare.
