Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

I usually don't make these type of mods to my cars (kind of a purest on the factory look) and my mods are more operational but it in the interest of time with friends and a few beers today I joined in on this one . I put the 5.7 in the same place as they put the eco diesel badge on the diesels so it kinda follows the same theme. Im sure im the only one that would ever notice it was even there but it made for a fun afternoon. Friends said it looked good but not sure I like it though, it might come off, any thoughts yay or nay? I will look at it again tomorrow when my head clears.

It doesn't look distracting but doesn't really stand out either which kinda defeats putting it on in the first place. If I was doing it, I would just put the word HEMI beneath the 4x4 which looks more interesting and meaningful. 5.7 is just a number. Adding 5.7 to 4x4 looks like a math equation! Keep it clean and leave it off. Just my 5 cents.

Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

It is important that everyone knows you have a Hemi. You should have it painted in large letters on the front doors. The more strangers that know, the faster your Jeep will go. It's kind of like Peter Pan having to think happy thoughts in order to fly.

yeah that's about the same I was thinking when I first put it on it ended up being cluttered mixed in with the 4x4, that and I guess truthfully really don't care what strangers think of what motor is in my jeep. think I will stick with my operational type mods and remain purest stock on the look as always, a little goo gone and its off tomorrow. was a fun day with friends though

That alone makes me want to put them all over my vehicle!

Re: Installing a 5.7L Hemi badge on rear if you have a V8?

I have a pair of them, 5.7 Liter with HEMI under it, going to put them on the doors
under the Grand Cherokee lettering, they do this on the trucks.

On my 2000 Durango, I bought 5.9 V8 badging and placed them under the Magnum
lettering on the front fenders and on the rear hatch.

Need to get the "Drive a Prius, Save the Gas for My Hemi" stiicker to piss off the greenies!

I agree! Just the Hemi badge would look sooooo much better!
