Yes, that's their kit, but if you have their LED version, you have to remove their resistor.

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

Just wanted to say that earlier today, I noticed another Summit following me for a little while. After I stopped in a parking lot, the Summit pulled alongside and asked if my Summit was a 2016 Summit. When I said it was a 2014, he asked me why his (turns out his was a 2015) didn't come with LED brake and turn signal rear lights. He thought that maybe the 2016's were coming with LED brake and turn lights. When I explained that they were aftermarket, he asked where I got them from because they looked great while following me. He also mentioned how having the inner lights on the liftgate light up when braking really stood out. I told him ebay has them.

Nice to know I'm not the only one that thinks Jeep was cheap when they only installed LED running lights on the 2014 and later WK2's.

Wonder if they'll make an SRT style taillight? If they do I'll buy a set.

+1

The smoke version of the current units are cool, but darker top lenses like SRT would be too hard to resist.

Hope they do make them.

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

^^^ I would consider them for my new High Altitude as well if they had an SRT version. Although I will say based on pictures in this thread, they almost already do look as dark as the SRT versions. Would be nice if someone took a side by side comparison picture to see whether these LED lights more closely resemble the SRT lamps or non-SRT lamps. Either way for now I'm still happy with my V3 Tritons!!

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

Placed my order last night. I got the clear backup lens instead of the smoked look because I wanted to maintain the stock appearance. Didn't order any plastic rivets or clips. Hopefully won't need them, but should I be replacing them even if I don't break them? Not sure if they will maintain their tight fit once they have been removed and refitted. I want to avoid any subsequent rattles or squeaks from a loose fitting tailgate panel.

Send us pics of the install and final installation and working mode when you're all done putting that nice mod on.

You shouldn't need to replace them. There are soo many clips on the rear lift gate trim that even if one or two break the panel still stays on rock solid. On my previous WK2 (2014 Summit), I removed the panel a good 3-4 times without having to replace anything. Besides that there is nothing else that would need to be replaced so you will be just fine.
