Not sure if this was posted but Revotec has the black bezel versions available now on Ebay. Been waiting myself for a while and just found it. (Of course a day after the Automotive $20 off coupon expired) here is the link.

Not yet. I'm out of town for another month so I'll order closer to getting home. I also will wait for another coupon or eBay bucks since I have to wait anyway. Seller has pretty solid reviews.

Yes, I got those ones with the smoked reverse lamps. These are what are shown in the video I posted. They've been in since January 4th, no issues whatsoever. The only issue I ran into was the resistor box. I had a dealer install these because I was very pressed for time (I was leaving the next day for university).

The techs just left the resistor box dangling inside the sheet metal, so I had the dealer I know well in NC mount in securely. They look magnificent compared to stock. No issues.

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

They look great! So I see the black bezel ones, but the only thing that I dont like is its still the brighter red housings. I guess what i was getting at is I like the OEM SRT/Altitude/High Altitude how they have the inner bezel (behind the red lens) is dark as well. These seem to use the same bright red housings, but they just swapped in the black bezels.

My only other concern was what i read a while back someone said that these seem to be very directional, and when you are anything but directly behind the vehicle the lights are not very effective. Does this seem to be true? I remember this happening with an aftermarket set of LED lights I had a while back on my old WJ. Same thing, if you were off even at a slight angle, the lights almost disappeared. I was pretty surprised they would design them like that.

Re: Interesting, check out these aftermarket '14/'15 LED tail lights!

In case anyone is wondering if you can make the inboard lights come on bright with the turn signals and the brake lights, yes you can!

It's a lot of work and I'm sorry I didn't take any pictures.

The wiring kit they give you has the bright portion of the two inner lights spliced together into one pair of red and black wires that's about 3' long--- (barely) long enough to reach the third brake light inside the hatch.

You can simply undo the splice so you have two separate pairs of red and black wires---one going to each light.

Each inner light's black ground wire can be spliced to the existing (also black) ground wire going to the original tail light.

Each inner light's red wire must be extended with its own very long wire.

Run both of those wires up to the top of the tailgate, then through the existing rubber boot that carries the other wires into the car body. Then run the wires down along the interior panels to the spare tire area.

Remove spare tire and carpeting below it.

Under the car, you'll see a few black plastic plugs in the bottom of the spare tire well. I drilled a small hole in the leftmost plug, passed the wires through, and sealed with silicone.

So now you have two wires dangling below the body---run one up to the backside of the driver's tail light, the other up to the backside of the passenger tail light. I covered all wires with loom and zip tied them in place to avoid the exhaust.

Then splice each wire onto each outboard tail light wire.

TIPS:

---If you can, use a different wire color for each light. Otherwise, you'll have to make a quick temporary connection to see which of your wires powers up which light.

---I tried to find the outboard tail light wires inside the back of the car but I don't think they're there. I think they run along the underside of the body and up to the front passenger kick panel where the BCM is. If you don't want to run the wires outside the car I guess you could run them all the way up to the BCM and test/find the right wires there.

---I saw plenty of wiring harnesses under the car in the back and you could probably splice there. But then you have to work laying on your back, and the connections are subject to road and salt spray. Better and easier to just run them up to each tail light.

---If you have an OEM trailer hitch, the wiring is all right there, very accessible, and very tempting. I tried making my connections there, but it turns out that for whatever reason, the timing of the turn signal pulses to the trailer do not match the outboard lights exactly. So what I ended up with was the inboard and outboard lights not coming on and off at the exact same time. It looked really bad.

Man, these lights still have my attention and I want them, but I just cant go from the SRT black inner bezel to the full bright red. I wish wish wish they would make these using the black inner trim.
