Wink Interior LED conversion

So ive changed all interior lights except the vanity mirror lights. I used 194 led wedge bulbs. The color is 6k, and it gives it such a classy look. Its a pretty easy upgrade, i bought some bulbs off ebay from china 8 bucks for 20 bulbs w/ 12 leds on the bulbs. All i used was a flat screwdriver and a pair of needle nose for the overhead console. Ill post the link for the bulbs if anyone wants. Excuse the pics there alittle blurry.

nice, i just got a 10 pack of 42 leds for $10 and just put them in as well, very bright compared to the incandescent.

Hey Mike.

How did you manage to change the bulbs at the front of the housings (closest to the windscreen)? I have changed out the back 2 but don't know how to get the lense out far enough to get to the fronts.

Cheers,

Clarkey.

For the overhead console, I just pulled the lens down a little and used needle nose plyers. Be very very gentle when putting pressue on the bulb with the plyers. Pull straight down and it'll come right out. Just dont break the bulb.

Thanks! I'm surprised and impressed that Jeep used all the same bulb type. I recall my BMW having 3 different bulb types in the interior and they were far too expensive at the time.

Here's a link to some of these at Amazon for a good price:
