Interior light replacement?

Anyone change the interior bulbs that is in door handle bar? It's the map light above each door. Looking for how they pop out to get a new bulb in.

2011 wk2 limited

Two methods:

1) pop out the plastic lens from the front. The side closest to the front seats (the side you push to turn the light on) is removable. You have to be careful and you risk scratching the surrounding plastic frame and lens.

2) unscrew the handles using a t25 torx bit (might be T20, sorry I forgot). You still have to pop out the assembly but it's much easier to access and there's much less risk of scratching. To expose the Torx bolts, you have to lift the plastic caps hiding the bolts after grabbing the handle.

There is also a link on WK2 Jeep that references interior trim removal, that shows how to remove the " grab handles" so you can access these lights.

This link covers pretty much all the lights.
