Interior Lighting?

Hi - I've only had my 16 GC for a week or so, so I'm still learning the nuances. This morning I noticed that with my headlight dial in the "A" position, wipers on as it was raining, that the overhead buttons for the moonroof as well as the headlight dial were illuminated blue - but the steering wheel and center console controls (volume, climate, etc.) were not. I then pulled into a dark parking garage and after 1-2 second, those then lit up as well.

Is that normal that the center console and steering wheel don't illuminate with the others until it's much darker?

Thanks.

Sounds about right. You are on Auto so the vehicle turns on the headlights and the internal switch lighting when it determines night lighting is needed.

I have a 2015 model and I don't think my overhead console buttons are illuminated during "daytime" nor were the door switches. I'll check tomorrow when I start my car from the underground parking garage to outside daytime what remains on.
