Re: Interior trim on a 2015 Overland

I used this:

www.wk2jeeps.com/wk2_interior_trim.htm

Very simple...pull off the top of the shifter knob. Remove bolt and pull off bottom half of shift assembly. Open door to in dash storage and pull out on bottom of the bezel that goes all the way around the stereo and climate controls. No tools required just work your way around.

After that is removed there will be 2 bolts on top and 2 bolts on bottom of storage cubby to remove. I think they are 5/16inch.

Obviously electrons are plugged in behind these things so unplug as you go.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. Was it easy to install? Are you happy with the result? Thanks.

Relatively easy, but youvreally need to focus when trying to align correctly.

Agreed, this looks great and I assume you are happy. I also hate the gold bits in the center console and agree that I am okay with the other trim parts. So in the end, for a black interior 2015 Overland, the correct color is Brown Zebrano? Did you remove the selected trim pieces to apply the new trim? If so, did you use the instructions posted in this thread? Any help for someone repeating your process would be helpful. Thanks

Mine was the Zebrano color. It's a 2015 overland with black interior.
I just followed the instructions that came with the package. Really just a matter of cleaning first with denatured alcohol which is good before applying any adhesive items.

So, this is just stuck on top of the original trim? Any idea how hard it would be to reverse?

Yes, right on top. If I had to remove it, I'd start be peeling up an edge and spraying alcohol under it. Maybe use a plastic spatula.

Re: Interior trim on a 2015 Overland

So it was $140 for a set of stickers? Am I understanding that correctly?
