Re: iPhone holder?

Jay2Dub, my wife uses that "CD slot" mount in her Outback...works fine and is a reasonable option for folks who actually have that unused CD slot.

Re: iPhone holder?

I'm using a Brodit / Proclip holder. Used on 2012 and now on my 2014.
iPhone 4s / iPhone 5s. I like the way the phone is positioned.

Re: iPhone holder?

Those little magnetic mounts look pretty cool, but I don't think they would work if you have your phone in any kind of case, is that correct?

Re: iPhone holder?

They say on the site that the discs you attach to your phone are thin enough to fit between your case and the phone. However I doubt that will be the case with every phone case.

I plan to stick the disc to the outside of the case. It goes on with 3m tape, so I'm sure I could move it to a new case when needed.

Anyway, my product is enroute and I should be able to post full info next week.

Re: iPhone holder?

In the past I have used ProClip. They make mounts for a wide range of vehicles and devices, with or without cases.

Ram Mounts make a universal holder that is good if you mount other things than just your iPhone, like GPS units or your wife's giant Android phone.

Probably only compatible with flexible/jelly phone cases but not with the slip on polycarbonate types that fit the phone like a hard glove.
