Is there a way??

To control the position of the passenger seat from the driver's side of the vehicle? I have a Summit, with the DVD players in the back. I keep the passenger seat moved forward when my daughter is in the back, so she doesn't kick the screen. After she gets out, I want to be able to move the passenger seat back to its normal position from my side of the vehicle. Conversely, if she is already in her seat, and I had forgotten to move it forward, i would want to be able to adjust as well.

Is this an option? I can't recall having it any vehicles we have owned. But it would be helpful.......

Re: Is there a way??

I do not believe there is any solution for that.

Not ideal but....
On the 2 outer corners at the base of the seat, attach an eye bolt/ screw.
Run string/ twine around the front and back of the seat, thru the eye bolt, attach them to the forward/ reverse button
That way from the drivers seat pull the string to operate the switch
Another approach is study the diagram from wk2 jeeps, intercept the needed wires and put a remote switch to work with the existing one in the seat
