Is This Unlit Sunroof Panel Normal?

Between the sunroof curtain buttons is a false button with a picture of the curtain - to clarify what those open/close buttons do. The glass open/close buttons have a working centre button due to vent mode, so it is obviously what those buttons are for.

However, in the dark the false curtain button does not illuminate. Is this an oversight (e.g. it has a graphic to indicate purpose but nobody thought to make it visible in the dark), or do I need to have it rectified next service?

Re: Is This Unlit Sunroof Panel Normal?

It's not really a button, so there's no reason to illuminate it probably...

Exactly.

Not an actual button so no illumination.

You aren't the only one! I was thinking the same, until I checked others. Lol. I hardly use the shade buttons. I always have mine open!

I'm the opposite. I never open the shade and obviously not the sunroof. Wish it wasn't standard on the Summit.

I see! In my old car I was able to tilt open the sunroof and still have the shade shut which is the way it stayed 24/7. I miss that feature in the Summit.
