Hello all,
I am new to this forum and also new owner of 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Ecodiesel
Does anyone know of any running boards or side steps that can be installed to Summit model? It seems that all i can find is for other models and will not fit Summit.
I need to have something to step on to put my bicycle on the roof rack.
Any suggestions?
Thank you very much.
;)

Taking a second look at the link I posted it seems the floor boards are photo shopped onto the summit, it also states "Will not fit with OE skirt cladding". So I'm guessing you would have to remove your summit side skirts, if you were to remove the side skirts I would think any brand running board would fit? But how is your summit going to look without the side skirts, anyone ever remove them to see if it's painted under there?

Hi,
I just finished installing Side Steps on my 2016 JGC Summit, part # 82212129AC.
Fits well, had to trim plastic bracket covers, but they look good.
Took me total of 4 hrs,
there is no need to remove plastic rivets that hold cladding skirts to the bottom of the frame,
BTW i ordered mine from RockAuto, great service and fast shipping,
thanks all for your suggestions,

Hi all, resurrecting this old thread to see if anyone has had any luck with finding all black running boards (not tube steps) that install easily without modifications/drilling. I have a High Altitude and black looks better than the chrome for my application and I know that HA and Summit are the same in terms of the side skirts/facias. Thanks in advance.
