You need yo remove the glovebox because the SS filter is rigid and the glove box light gets in the way.

Re: JRoll's Uber-Tech Cabin Filter for WK2

That material you made the filter from is to trap grease and oil when in vapor mode.
That wont trap any fine dust like the paper filter that comes with the car. A better solution would have been a carbon filter made out of aquarium filters material which has the capability to filter odor due to the Activated carbon material and filter dust due to the polyester material.

Re: JRoll's Uber-Tech Cabin Filter for WK2

earlier in the thread he is looking at a split filter, one layer of carbon.

Re: JRoll's Uber-Tech Cabin Filter for WK2

Does anyone know the size of the filter Width X length and how thick.
I have a Lexus IS-F that uses a carbon filter maybe they are the same size?????
I am going to check tomorrow.

Re: JRoll's Uber-Tech Cabin Filter for WK2

Sorry Guys, I Had to take A hiatus from a lot of things, including this forum and the pursuit of a better filter. To explain my self with out going into too much detail, my wife has and is continuing to have some complications with the pregnancy of our first child. With that being said, we are in the home stretch of the pregnancy and all signs are pointing to the return of good health to My Lovely Wife along with the birth of a healthy baby boy in about six weeks time. I'm sorry to have left you all hanging the way I did. Between all of the doctors visits and such and trying the best I can to help my wife there has been little time for much else. I will be working on the filters today and in fact should have some news about a new timeline for release this evening or possibly tomorrow morning.

Thank you for understanding,

Josh Rollins
