I recently debadged and dechromed my Overland and had the grille shell, door handles, mirror covers, rear chrome strip, etc. painted body color (deep cherry red) and the just for jeeps stainless mesh grille installed. The grille looks really nice and definitely improves the front end look. I really like how it all came out but, unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to post pics yet!
I thought it was finished very well. The polished stainless mesh has almost a chrome look. The body shop said they didn't have any fitting problems with installing it.
It's a bit on the expensive side, but it does give the grille a very clean and unique look, especially with the grille shell painted body color. I thought initially of having an SRT grille shell installed, but I like the clean look of this one even better. And it's certainly less expensive and less work to install because the shell doesn't need modifying.
Put your pic on a host site like photobucket then copy and paste the image code or link on to here to post pics. I would like to see it! It's real easy on my iPhone with the photobucket app.. Take pic, upload to bucket, copy image code, paste here...
