O.K. sorry for the delay the final part is out of mold and fitted and everything looked good we are just finalizing the removable doors on the lower grill so we have a OEM type part.

I just want everyone on the same page the group buy list was for a head count for MFG purpose only and to get locked into a discount pricing. The bumper will be marked up on the website.

Also this is not an easy task "Making Urethane Parts" OEM's have their stuff in development for years before they hit the street we are trying to do it in a fraction of that. This is NOT fiberglass or carbon fiber and soft tooling!!! So please bare with me cool? :)

Here is a quick snap of the fitment of the first part out of mold a few tweaks still have to be made!! We realized this part was installed wrong (Not snapped in along the top edge correctly) and did not take another pic after fixing it sorry. I am just showing everyone and probably shouldn't show this but since everyone wants to see the status I am just gonna share Haa. This is close to how it will look hope this feeds everyone curiosity HAAA

Thanks much for the update and for posting the most recent pic. Still very anxious to see the finished product as I'm a little underwhelmed about the way the center of it looks with the mesh. For those of us without tow hooks, can the "doors" on the sides be removed completely so a better looking mesh can be attached to cover the entire center section? Are those two vertical pieces in the center a structural neccessity? The overall shape of the lip looks great, and when fitted properly and color matched should be awesome. Just trying to decide how I will be able to improve the look of what's currently going on in the center. Thanks again.

They will be removable doors on either side.

Unfortunately for dealers we have to retain as much OEM function as possible so they had to be done like this.

When tooling we can not do multiple molds for two removable doors or non-removable doors ya know? The OEM's only make 1 bumper and we follow the same theory because like them it comes down to cost vs. sense.

I MAY BE able to offer some mesh with them in case you do not want the smooth doors. Again MAY BE!! This is a plastic mesh like OEM not some metal mesh so this lower section retains a Factory look so it's not like you will be able to find the mesh anywhere. You can of course find some SS mesh to place in their or in the whole bottom.I can talk to Ablaze Grills and see if he can offer some Stainless Mesh.

Yes they are necessary for the Adaptive eye to be attached.

dslide, those vertical pieces frame the ACC, which is much appreciated by those of us who have it. And since urethane is relatively flexible, I'm guessing they are also necessary to help retain the shape of the opening, especially the lower lip. Assuming the bumper comes in black urethane as pictured and you plan to paint it to match body color (mine is red), those verticals could be taped off and left black, and would not really be that visible. On the other hand, if you don't have tow hooks or the ACC, the opening looks plenty deep enough that you should be able to fit a mesh grille across the entire area in front of the tow hook doors and verticals framing the ACC.
Well said!! And I agree 100% once painted the lower grill area will not bee seen. This is a picture really focused on the lower part standing in front of the truck looking down or at a distance I'm not so sure you will even see much of the details seen here.
